This isn’t your typical fellowship. As a Youth Fellow, you will conduct original research, use professional tools, and present your findings to the leaders shaping Charlotte’s future.
What You Will Do
Peer Research: Conduct interviews and engagement sessions to map the hobby landscape of Charlotte.
Data Collection: Use digital tools, video, and photography to capture stories and shape city-wide events.
Civic Leadership: Present your work directly to city leaders and philanthropists.
Grant Activation: Help design and launch a youth Charlotte’s first micro-grant program to fund peer-led projects.
Community Engagement: Plan neighborhood events that showcase the power of play and purpose

We are looking for curious, dependable 10th and 11th graders from every neighborhood and background in Charlotte-Mecklenburg.
